ABSTRACT:
Work culture transformation is essential to addressing the challenges of healthcare services that demand optimal quality. Vertical hospitals often face negative perceptions regarding inadequate facilities and limited resources, which impact service quality and staff motivation. To overcome these challenges, a systemic approach is required to foster a collaborative, efficient, and patient-centered work environment. This study explores various strategies that can be implemented in vertical hospitals in Indonesia to achieve work culture transformation. The research adopts a descriptive analysis method with a literature review approach, drawing on journals published between 2014 and 2024. The findings reveal several strategies for transforming work culture in vertical hospitals, including effective leadership, enhanced communication, employee engagement, training and development, innovative practices, and patient-centered services. These strategies contribute to maintaining a positive work environment. The study underscores the significance of a collaborative approach to cultivating a supportive and efficient work culture within hospitals. Furthermore, the findings offer valuable insights into policy formulation to address challenges associated with negative perceptions of facilities and limited resources. This research holds theoretical relevance and provides practical implications for improving hospital performance and staff motivation in the long term.
